Hongbing Iris Cai FRSA
Founder and Director of Positive Speaking Ltd
Iris is the Founder and Director of Positive Speaking Ltd, strategic consultant, coach and lecturer.
She lectures on ‘Business in Chinese- Chinese language, culture and doing business in China’ in London Business School since January 2009. The course uses a combination of language and culture, as well as Chinese ancient wisdom together with her first hand experience of doing business in China, to provide insights and practical applications in conducting business with Chinese people.
As a business expert, she participated in 78 editions of ‘On the Money’ on BBC Radio 5 LIVE talking about Chinese culture and doing business in China from February 2011 to June 2014.
Her consulting work specialises in strategy for the China market. Clients include The Royal Mint. Her advice also influences the UK government in setting policies helping SMEs to export to China.
Iris is a professional Personal Performance Coach and Business Coach as well as a NLP Practitioner. Praised as 'Ideal Coach' by her clients, Iris helps people working internationally.
She received the Mu-Lan Achievements Award in October 2009, which celebrates Chinese women’s achievements in the UK at the House of Lords, in honour of her dedication and contribution to cultural bridge-building between the UK and China.
She was invited to attend the Queen’s Garden Party in Buckingham Palace in May 2012, to recognise and appreciate her efforts in enterprise promotion and public service.
She became a Fellow of RSA in June 2017.
The mission of the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) is to enrich society through innovation and action.
From 1999 to 2009 Iris worked as a finance professional for several international advertising companies. Iris was a Finance Manager at WPP Group in China, and also Saatchi & Saatchi China from 1999 to 2003. In 2003 she transferred and worked for its UK group until 2009.
From 1994 to 1999 Iris worked as an Assistant to the Group CFO of Midea Group, a Fortune 500 company, the main producer and exporter of home
appliances in southern China (with £35 billion revenue in 2018).
In 1998 She took a one-year work break to go to university to study business English full time.
Iris was born in Beijing, educated in Xi’an with majoring in Finance and Accounting and then worked in Guangzhou China.
Iris now lives in London.
Her life mission is to have positive influence on people and add value to their lives.

Gilbert Yushih Yang

Mr. Gilbert YuShih Yang is the Chief Adviser and Senior Consultant of Positive Speaking.
Mr.Yang is currently a strategy and management consultant based in Beijing China. He is the Founder of Web Profile Management China, a recognised management expert in the China advertising industry.
Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Yang served as the CFO for various multinational companies’ Greater China operations, these include Saatchi & Saatchi, Zenith Media, Mindshare, J. Walter Thompson, Warner Music/UFO Records, etc. He also worked in the bank industry in New York and New Jersey of USA before moved to China.
He Innovated new communication theories such as “consumer decision outsourcing”, “Supply Creation”, “People Communication”, “Web Reputation Management”, etc. These have gained increasing support in the China advertising and communication industry.
Mr. Yang is the author of the book "21st Century Advertising Company Management Revolution" He is also a frequent speaker on various industry seminars and he lectures in university programs such as QingHua's EMBA program and Beijing University's Chief Branding Officer program.

Enya Ye
Chief Representative of Positive Speaking China
Enya joined Positive Speaking in 2010. She works closely with UK companies to support internatioanl client business success in the China market.
Enya specialise in Creative English to Chinese translation. marketing strategy, selecting the right suppliers, conducting first hand marketing research. Social media management for clients. Enhance effective communiction between internatioanl business and their Chiense partners.
Enya has worked in Guangzhou Daily Newspaper Group for ten years before joining Positive Speaking, (the Guangzhou Daily Newspaper Group is China's biggest and most profitable Newspaper Group), and three years in a Five Star Hotel. Between 1997-1998 Enya took one year break and studied one year full time in business English at Zhuangshan University Guangzhou China.
Enya’s majored in Chinese Literary and Business Management when she studied in Jinan University Guangzhou China.
Yanmin Xing
Senior Chinese Teacher at Positive Speaking UK
Mrs Xing is a qualified Mandarin Chinese teacher. Before moving to London, she was a Finance Manager of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Beijing. Her rich knowledge of Chinese culture as well as firsthand experience of operation and management in China Bank industry have added value to her Chinese teaching. She has received many positive feedback from her students in London Business School and companies.
Richard Mullett
Chief Legal Advisor of Positive Speaking UK
Solicitor and Founder of The Legal Partners, lawyers for ambitious companies.
A lawyer and entrepreneur, Richard is passionate about facilitating growth for UK companies. He founded The Legal Partners, a team of practical business lawyer, to work alongside companies, helping them to grow their exports to China and Asia and negotiating successful, profitable agreements with customers and suppliers across these important markets.
In 2012, Richard began conducting briefing and training sessions with Iris Cai, advising the Government’s UKTI department and companies on how to negotiate in China and build successful business growth across UK and China.
After working in the city and graduating with a first class honours degree in Banking & Finance, Richard took articles and qualified with Slaughter and May, where he spent 6 years advising corporate clients, working on joint ventures and the IPOs of telecom giants Orange, Energis and Colt.
From Slaughter and May Richard moved to be an in house lawyer at O2. Headhunted to be the legal director at Neos Networks in the early 200s, He co ran and sold this fibre optic company to a FTSE 100 company, Scottish & Southern in 2003 before Founding The Legal Partners in 2003.
Andrey Kuznetsov
Chief Economist at Positive Speaking UK
Andrey was born in Russia and attended State University – Higher School of Economics in Moscow, where he has specialized in Economics with focus on China and studied Mandarin Chinese. He gained further expertise in Chinese economy while working at Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the PRC in Beijing and from his exchange at Beijing Language and Culture University. He has recently graduated with an Msc degree from London Business School.
Outside of his passion for China, Andrey is interested in fixed income markets, with particular focus on High Yield corporate bonds in euro area, and is currently working for a hedge fund in London.
Baizhou Bill Cai
Senior Consultant at Positive Speaking UK
Bill has worked in UK-China international relations for eight years prior to joining Positive Speaking. Despite his experience in foreign affairs, he has majored in Interior Design and Environmental Architecture at the University of Arts London. His design work has been shortlisted in competitions and built retail shops in Hong Kong China.
Bill is actively involved in both design and foreign affairs sector, published book in the UK and magazines in China, whilst keeping up to date on foreign affairs and UK-China Business exchange
With experience being Spokesman at Business Associations and Director of International Relations at Culture Associations gave him direct access to business and government information deep within the industries.
